EDUCATION
The most abundant cannabinoid in hemp is CBD (Cannabidiol).
Our products contain concentrated amounts of this incredible anti-inflammatory plant compound.
Our goal at Murphy Hemp & Wellness is to educate the
public about the many different benefits achieved from using High CBD Hemp and to
help you understand the difference between Hemp and Marijuana.
Using this process, we are keeping Hemp on its incline to a more commonly used herb for all of our common aches, pains, injuries, ailments and diseases.
Application and delivery methods
There are many different products out there offering many different application methods.
The main methods of application include: • Sublingual • Topical • Edible
Edibles
Edibles have many different forms, they can be capsules, gummies, baked goods and more! Most of these are ingested and travel through the digestive system including the liver, which doesn't allow you to absorb quite as much of the Cannabinoids. In most cases, these products are good because they usually have a fat or sugar for the Cannabinoids to attach to, this helps to carry the effects on the Cannabinoids throughout your body.
It is best to allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for the medicine to take full effect.
rub-on
Topical products make it easy to apply directly to an area. This makes them ideal for symptoms such as knee & shoulder pain, and also problems such as arthritis or neuropathy. Products used topically are special in the way that they will not show up on a drug test. The reason being, the particle size of the cannabinoids is only small enough to break through the skin and muscle barrier, but not the blood barrier.
Inhalation
Inhaling allows the medicine to reach from your lungs to your brain quickly by absorbing into the blood vessels in your lungs. This allows it to travel and take effect very quickly.
Inhalation is the fastest method of delivery!
However, inhalation does not last as long as an edible. If you are looking for rapid relief that doesn't need to last long, using a vaporizer pen or smoking the flower is the best method for you.
Sublingual
(under the tongue)
One of the best methods for Hemp Extracts (that have been dissolved into an oil, alcohol or glycerin) to enter your body is sublingually. This is because there are so many tiny blood vessels under your tongue that absorb medicine, so it is able to get into your system faster than other edibles. Also, your body is able to absorb more of it. Using the Sublingual method allows the medicine to enter into your body in a way that bypasses the digestive system, leaving the cannabinoids that were absorbed into your bloodstream with a fuller potential to relieve. This method is the most efficient of the edibles.
We found there are a variety of seed oil crops suitable to Southern Oregon's climate. Camelina, Pumpkin and Hemp seeds are our foundation seed stocks.
We grow and source all of our seeds from the Pacific Northwest. Grown organically and naturally free of chemical pesticides, herbicides, genetically modified organisms, or anything that we understand to alter the natural progression of the plant or crop.
We started growing and pressing seed in 2009.
